Sleepybee is built for one of the most private places in your life — your baby's nursery. This policy explains exactly what data exists, where it lives, and what never leaves your phone.
Cry detection runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device sound analysis. Microphone audio is analyzed in memory and immediately discarded. No audio is ever recorded, stored, transmitted, or heard by anyone.
Sleep sessions, cry events, timelines, and statistics are stored locally on your device only. Your baby's profile (name, birth date, sex) is also stored locally and is used to show age-based sleep guidance. None of this is uploaded to our servers.
Creating an account is optional and exists to deliver cry alerts across your devices. If you create one, we store:
This data is stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase, protected by row-level security so only your account can access it. We do not sell data, run ads, use third-party analytics, or share data with anyone.
In the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, device tokens, and alert history from our servers. Local sleep logs remain on your device until you delete the app.
Sleepybee is used by parents and caregivers, not by children. The only child-related information is the profile you choose to enter (first name, birth date, sex), which stays on your device except for the first name used in alert text as described above.
Sleepybee is a sleep aid and monitoring aid — not a medical device. It cannot detect breathing problems or prevent SIDS, and it is not a substitute for adult supervision.
